Patch 3.63 made it so you can’t see the spots that are being saved. I don’t remember how many buildings total, but after about 5 buildings I had 3 big buildings to go and about 10 little buildings. Not sure what the little spots will become, but I recall reading about sentinel defenses. Reply. Not sure you can find an S-Class settlement, but you can eventually get one by ranking it up. I have one now. I did get extremely lucky. I skipped my starter outpost and used maps to create one on an extreme sentinel planet. Right next to a large curious deposit :) Not sure if the extreme environment helps, but that's my theory.
Eventually you might get some units or materials, but unit economy in NMS is broken, and it's much easier to do CE in a med/large refiner or craft SD or FI for units than to babysit a settlement.
