I finally made it to level 69 with level 69 gear and after doing the math I put out ~47,000 DPS with my double anarchy SMG with all the stat boosts.First, damage bonuses. Borderlands has two different types of damage boosts, called weapon damage and bullet damage. Weapon damage is the more common of the two, since all proficiency and class mod damage bonuses are to weapon damage, as well as some skills. Bullet damage is exclusive to a handful of skills. I use the Double Anarchy, mostly because the particular SMG I found was extremely powerful at 140x4 damage, while I mostly find 90-100x4 damage. Must have skills centered around phasewalk are Inner Glow (health regen), Hard to Get (decrease cooldown), Silent Resolve (damage resistance), Hit & Run (duration), and Blackout (cooldown).
