I used this to great effect when paired with a Goshawk that had a "Always crits after scoped for 1 second" inscription. I also had a gemini inscription to further increase the crit damage (which also increases the likelihood that the ability will proc).I was playing solo with Lei Luo and got to the final boss without a problem.
